I'm writing while waiting in the Atlanta airport for the final leg of my trip home from Arizona.
It's now four days following the Whiskey Row Marathon. After taking one day off, I have walked/jogged during the last two days.
On Monday, I essentially walked just over four miles on a path beside a canal in Phoenix.
Tuesday's activity was along the same canal, with two different walks (one in the morning, one in the evening) totaling just over six miles.
My summer plans have been slightly interrupted by a scheduling change. As a result, the planned June marathon is still Estes Park in Colorado. My plan was to run the San Francisco Marathon in July, but it appears I'm going to need to find another option. And, I'm still working on August.
I'll be surfing the calendar section of marathonguide.com in an attempt to identify my July and August events soon (I hope).
