Watch Greg Run began as an online journal of my effort to run a marathon each month during 2009. With the marathon a month challenge successfully behind me, I'm still running and still posting with notes on training runs, travel and other thoughts.

Verrazano-Narrows Bridge Photo

I'm running out of information to post about my New York City Marathon experience.
Since I have six weeks until my next (and final) marathon for the year, I'm trying to stretch the material to the greatest extent possible.

I just completed the "buy a photo" process for New York. In my opinion, the best picture for me is the photographic image of my run across the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge Bridge during the first mile of the New York City Marathon.

That's me in the white hat, gray shirt and shirt in the middle of the photo.

For reference, this is the point in the marathon when I was running faster than intended in order to avoid being run over by those much faster than me.

If you want a laugh, check out the running apparel of the guy just behind my right (your left) shoulder.
